Medora of London Lipstick Review
So today we have Medora of London aka Medora Lipsticks under the test!
These lipsticks have served the market of Pakistan for years and they are love of many ladies, even of West! The history of Medora lipsticks can be tracked back to our Nanis and Dadis, as I remember it was a favorite and go to of my Dadi.
About Medora of London Lipsticks:
Medora Lipsticks are know for their wide range of colors at affordable price. These lipsticks are very pigmented and lasts really long. There are some very very close dupes found in Medora's line of some renowned brands. Medora lipsticks are easily available at local cosmetics shop and is known by everyone in Pakistan. These lipsticks tend to last for straight 8-10hrs, only if you drink in between, however if you eat in between then these settles at the outline of the lips. However, reapplication can do justice. Nonetheless, dark colors like Stylista, reds etc they leave a stain on lips even after eating. They transfer a lot! just a touch of tissue will have lipstick stain, but this does not wipe off the lipstick, the color of the lipstick remains intact. If the lips are dry Medora Lipsticks can highlight the dry patches of the lips. Some of the lipsticks have a metallic sent to it however, some other tubes do not. I assume this smell comes in the tube which are old stock. Be careful while buying these lipsticks as some retailers sell expired or fake Medora lipsticks*.
*pro tip: Genuine Medora Lipsticks have expiry date printed inside the box of the lipstick. So Do Check This Out Before Buying.

Dark Lips Scandal:
The lipsticks are made in Swat, Pakistan and adhere to all the standards of safety. Now even the ingredients are mentioned at the back of the box. However, there are speculations about these lipsticks, let me give my word, I have been using these lipsticks for 2 years and my lips are perfectly fine. I have not suffered from dark lips, breakouts or any irritation on my lips. Further, its been used by my mother and grand mother who are perfectly fine as well. Regardless of this, with any lipstick, one should remove it before going to bed so that lips can breath a little. That's the way with any lipstick to keep the lips smooth, fresh and soft.
Packaging:
Medora lipsticks come in a grey box type packing which is pretty plan. Name of the company is printed at the front and ingredients at the back. The lipstick tube comes in 3 colors grey, blue and black. Grey packing are matte lipsticks, blue are semi matte and black packing is its glossy range. The tube has 3 golden rings on it on at the top one in the middle and one at the end. The plastic of the tube is not very impressive however, for the price they charge I do not mind it. However, I personally own 20 Medora lipsticks and the cap of all of the lipsticks fit then hence I never had to worry about cap falling of the tube in the purse.
